Our Story
Green Light Driving School has been serving local students and families since 1997. What began as a small driving school has grown over nearly three decades, expanding its reach while continuing to provide driver education throughout the Fox Valley and surrounding communities.
Along the way, thousands of students and families have made Green Light part of their journey toward becoming licensed drivers. Today, we’re proud to continue a tradition that has been part of our local communities for nearly 30 years
Our Mission
Our mission is to teach safe and defensive driving techniques to teenagers and adults while providing a comfortable learning environment, flexible scheduling, knowledgeable instruction, and excellent customer service.

Our Founding
Chris and Lisa Pearson founded Green Light Driving School in 1997. Their backgrounds in education, occupational safety, social work, law enforcement, and defensive-driving instruction helped shape the school’s emphasis on safety, professional instruction, and serving local families from the very beginning.
Green Light was created with the goal of providing professional instruction while making the driver education experience comfortable, flexible, and approachable for students and families.
